Our clients vary widely in size, industry and ways of working.
We concentrate particularly on UK based businesses in the SME sectors. These are the companies that often find it hard to afford specialist external support.
A 2 man team is running what was, before the arrival of Covid-19, a highly successful carpentry and joinery business. An average profit of 30% had collapsed and the company's bank account was rapidly moving towards zero. As a small business they were unable to access help on applying for furlough payments or to understand how to obtain other Government support. With our assistance the business is now stable, looking to the future and optimistic.
"We just wanted to share a quick note to you guys at Business Phoenix for the great job you have done. We are so glad we decided to work with you. It was such a relief once we had you on board, knowing that we were no longer alone. We were new to the business world and struggling with new skills and achieving efficiency.
"One of the best things we felt about Business Phoenix was the level of personal touch. With regular video calls and meetings we always felt at ease. We now feel the strongest we ever have, and believe there is no obstacle we cannot overcome. Knowing you are only a phone call away is reassuring."
West Oxfordshire Woodwork Ltd
An events Company was in debt and without work. Contracts for the year had been cancelled in lockdown and deposits had to be returned. Business Phoenix helped understand the accounts, seek Government support and negotiate with suppliers and clients alike. The business will survive Covid-19 and, with a renewed vision, will enter the new world with justifiable excitement.
"The Business Phoenix team helped me at the worst moment in my career. Now, the new business is thriving despite the lockdown."
Samantha Jones, Project Manager
A cosmetics company lost its rapidly growing Chinese market during the lockdown.
Producing specialist and premium products from seaweed extracts the market crashed completely in February 2020.
Working with Business Phoenix, the business found new buyers, delivering the same volume of core products to British and European health care operators by the end of May.
Those same products are now used to help protect care and medical workers whose skin has been badly damaged by repeated washing and use of disinfectants. Meanwhile, as the Chinese market recovers, Business Phoenix has helped reopen and expand production lines, allowing orders made before the crisis to be met.
We have also worked to help streamline HR processes and are now engaged in advising on the next stages of digitisation – in this case concentrating on quality control.
